The Wagan Tech 7410 DC-to-DC Battery Charger is a 25 Amp multi-source, 3-stage charger capable of charging auxiliary batteries from a vehicle alternator and/or solar panel with its built-in Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) solar charge controller. Using a high-speed microcontroller and proprietary charging algorithm, the Wagan 7410 delivers a sophisticated 3-stage charging process resulting in a faster and more powerful charge that is ideal for deep cycle batteries.
The Wagan Tech 25 Amp DC-to-DC Charger will ensure your batteries are kept at optimum performance levels to enhance performance and extend their lifespan. Solar input takes priority if solar input power is present and strong enough, and if solar input cannot provide enough energy to charge the battery, the battery charger will automatically draw power from the alternator. The 7410 can be used with both standard and Smart Alternator systems and is compatible with both 12V and 24V inputs.
The Wagan DC-to-DC Charger utilizes sophisticated MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) solar regulator technology to maximize the power generated from your solar panels to the auxiliary battery. The MMPT s up to 95% efficient, creating a maximum charging current of 25 amps, and can be used with solar panels up to 375W combined in 12V systems and 750W combined in 24V systems.
The 7410 DC-to-DC Charger is compatible with most battery types, including SLA (Sealed Lead Acid), Flooded Lead-acid, Gel, AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat), Calcium and LiFePO4 Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries with a Battery Management System (BMS) in place.
The Wagan Tech 7410 25A Charger is heat, vibration, water, and dust protected for limitless installs including chassis rails, engine compartments and cabs. Additionally, the 7410’s integrated mounting plate and compact size make locating an installation site a breeze.
The Wagan 7410 DC-to-DC 25 Amp Battery Charger is a great solution to charging your auxiliary battery while traveling, and is ideal for use in any vehicle with a dual battery set-up including RV’s, trucks, vans, and overlanders, as well as trailers, fifth wheels and off-grid solar applications. Additionally, the Wagan 7410 will manage and smooth out the variable current to help extend the life of down-stream automotive accessories, while isolating the starter battery to prevent unnecessary drain. For systems with Solar Panels, Power Inverters, and auxiliary batteries, the DC-to-DC Charger completes the power eco-system by providing a way to connect, power, and recharge everything.
